Amanda Handy was born and raised in Charles County, MD. She graduated from Radford University with a bachelor Liberal Arts with a concentrating in Human Development and Music. She earned a bachelor's in digital media and Web Technology. She was a Catechist teacher for five years and is has a masters in teaching Secondary English. She has one daughter attending St. Michael's. Ms. Handy is 5th and 6th grades homeroom teacher. She is also ELA and Social Studies teacher for 5th - 8th grades.
