"Faithfulness is our Shield."
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. We are excited to welcome our new Principal Ms. Weems to the St. Michael’s Family. Welcome to all our new families and welcome back to all our returning families. For those who are unfamiliar, PIE stands for Partners in Education.
Essentially, we are the group of parent volunteers who help with the fundraising events for our school. Fundraising is an extremely important part of our school’s success. The money raised is an essential part of our school’s yearly budget, so we take our jobs very seriously. It is with the help of each and every family that attends St. Michael’s school that we are able to make this happen each and every year!
The 40 volunteer hours that are required is what we need to keep our events running smoothly throughout the school year. We have many events during the year to give everyone many opportunities to be involved in a way that suits them best.
Please reach out to the committee if you have any questions about an event. We have a parent representative for each grade who will be reaching out to you within the first few weeks of school. Below is a list of tentative dates for some of our planned fundraisers.

Included in the smooth operation of St. Michael’s School (SMS) are certain volunteer functions and responsibilities that must be fulfilled. All of these tasks are challenging and demand energetic, enthusiastic workers to achieve these goals. Responsibilities require time and enthusiasm and are vital to the efficient functions of the school. Performance of these desperately needed volunteer functions by paid personnel would cause tuition to increase much more.
After considerable research and study of other schools in the metropolitan area and learning their management of similar problems, the Partners in Education (PIE) Program was formed. Parent participation is a vital component of the operation of SMS.
