Kim Nepini, a native of St. Mary's County, has always had a deep-rooted passion for education and family. She pursued her academic journey at the College of Southern Maryland and St. Mary's College, focusing on Child Growth and Development, Psychology, and Early Childhood Education. With a firm belief that nurturing children and fostering their faith are paramount, she embarked on a career dedicated to teaching.
Following her studies, Mrs. Nepini embarked on her journey into motherhood while simultaneously delving into the realm of Catholic education, where her dedication found its purpose. Her expertise in music and art complemented her roles as an educator, shaping young minds in various capacities. At a local Catholic school, she enriched the educational experience of elementary students by introducing innovative curriculum and overseeing programs like the Accelerated Reader Program.
Mrs. Nepini joined the faculty of St. Michael's, initially as a music teacher in 2015. However, her diverse skill set and educational background quickly led to her assuming roles as a long-term substitute teacher for second grade in 2017 and as a co-teacher for a combined fourth and fifth-grade class in the school year 2022-2023.
Mrs. Nepini's commitment to education extends beyond the classroom, as evidenced by her ongoing involvement with St. Mary’s Ryken, her alma mater. She contributes to the Youth Honor’s Chorus and lends her expertise as a judge for music and choir scholarships, nurturing the next generation of talent.
Driven by her unwavering dedication to teaching and family values, Mrs. Nepini continues to inspire and empower students, leaving an indelible mark on their lives and communities.
