Marcia Hart is the Director of Communications for the Naval Air Systems Command at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. She oversees Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, Media Relations, Publications Management, Congressional Liaison, Protocol and Visual Information.

Ms. Hart has been a member of St Michael’s Parish since 2012. The Philadelphia native served in the U.S. Army for 13 years as a journalist. From 2002 to 2007, Ms. Hart was a communications instructor at the Defense Information School at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.

Ms. Hart graduated from Overbrook High School, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1988. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mt. St. Mary College and Seminar located in Newburgh, New York, and a Masters of Science in Sociology from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.
