John Padukiewicz is a retired Coast Guard aviator and has been a member of St. Michael’s Parish since 1996. He went to high school in Aberdeen Maryland, graduated from Loyola University with a B.A. in English Literature, and received his Master’s in Organizational Management from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Mr. P was as an officer and aviator in the Army for seven years, then transferred and served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 13 years. After his retirement from the military, John worked 22 years as a Defense Contractor at Pax River supporting Developmental Helicopter programs.
Mr. P was an Eagle Scout, has been designated as an Official Coast Guard artist, restored a jet fighter that is displayed in the Pax River Naval Air Museum, and is an avid Star Wars fan (built a full-sized R2D2). He looks forward to sharing his love of aviation, space, technology, and science with a new generation of learners!
